Forged Fittings are small-bore pipe fittings produced by heating a solid billet of steel and compressing it into shape under high pressure, rather than casting or welding it together. This forging process removes internal voids and aligns the metal's grain structure, giving the finished fitting greater strength, toughness and resistance to high pressure than a cast equivalent.
